Impressive Numbers

In just a short period, the Digital Talent program at HUFLIT has attracted 668 registered learners, including students, alumni, graduate students, and University Lecturers – Officers – Staff (GV-CB-CV). What is particularly impressive is that within just 4 months, the program’s learner community at HUFLIT has conquered 780 Google Career Certificates, with many learners proactively completing more than one course.

Not stopping at numbers, this is also a testament to the learners’ lifelong learning spirit and the University’s efforts in building an environment where learners are encouraged and supported to build lifelong learning capabilities and continuous development.

Stories of HUFLIT "Digital Citizens"

The program’s results are not only reflected in numbers, but also in inspiring stories from the students themselves. Post-course surveys revealed how learners have effectively applied digital skills to their daily work and life.

Regarding artificial intelligence-related courses, many students noted that AI is no longer a distant concept but has become a powerful tool. “Through the AI course, I learned how to use AI more intelligently and I now view Gemini as my assistant,” shared one student. Another student learned how to “provide data clearly and coherently so that AI can best assist me,” saving time in searching and finding information more effectively. Many students have also applied AI to writing professional emails and planning.

Lecturers have been able to apply AI to lesson planning, making their work lighter and more optimized. As for Hoang Tu (Student of the Faculty of Information Technology), he shared that during a group assignment on cybersecurity, Tu applied knowledge from the course to analyze vulnerabilities in a test system, propose patching methods, and successfully test the solution.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Trung, specialist at the Organization - Administration Department, shared that he has applied digital skills in synthesizing and statistical data processing, helping to shorten the time required to complete assigned tasks.

Through the courses in the program, learners not only focused on technical skills but also improved essential soft skills. Tan Kiet (Student of the Faculty of Information Technology) shared that the project management courses helped him “improve agile storyboard creation skills to manage programming project progress.” Another student developed data analytics skills, getting acquainted with new tools like R and Tableau for academic and practical projects. Phan Trong Dai (HUFLIT Alumnus), after participating in the UX Design course, designed his own personal portfolio, increasing his competitive edge against other candidates.

In the era of digital transformation, lifelong learning capacity becomes a core factor for everyone to adapt and contribute to society. This is also the mission HUFLIT pursues: training global citizens who master knowledge, are ready to innovate, and continuously develop. The Digital Talent program at HUFLIT is a concrete proof, equipping students with foreign languages, IT skills, and practical experiences, opening up a solid foundation to confidently embrace all future career opportunities.
