Based on the announcement from KEB Hana Bank – Ho Chi Minh City Branch regarding the annual scholarship program for disadvantaged students at universities in Vietnam, HUFLIT Career Hub provides the criteria for the 2025 Keb Hana Scholarship as follows:
1. Quantity and value of the scholarship
- Number of scholarships: 20 slots
- Scholarship value: 400 USD/slot
2. Target audience for the 2025 KEB Hana Scholarship
- Students of the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Cultures (majoring in Korean Studies, Korean Language): 08 slots
- Students of the Faculty of Business Administration (majoring in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management): 05 slots
- Students of the Faculty of Economics and Finance (majoring in Finance and Banking, Accounting, Auditing): 05 slots
- Students majoring in Economic Law: 02 slots
3. Criteria
- Full-time students majoring in Korean Studies, and economics, finance, and banking-related fields (excluding final-year students);
- Students facing difficulties in paying tuition fees;
- Students or parents with disabilities facing financial difficulties;
- Exemplary students with good academic achievements;
- Average GPA of the most recent academic year: minimum 7.5/10 or 3.0/4.0 (for first-year students, if transcripts are not yet available, the Admission Notice/Enrollment Notice stamped by the University can be submitted).
4. Scholarship application documents
Note:
- Students applying for the 2025 KEB Hana Scholarship please contact the Faculty Office for guidance.
- Students submit their applications to the Faculty Office before November 19, 2025 (Wednesday).
- Students who received the scholarship in the previous year can still be nominated if they meet all the program’s criteria.
Application documents include:
- Application form (template): typed, international standard 3×4 photo with a white background;
- Recommendation letter (template) from a lecturer or head of the department;
- Student ID card;
- Certificate of near-poor household (if any);
- English transcript showing the most recent academic year or university admission notice (stamped by the University).
