On the morning of July 8, 2024, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony between Pasona Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Cultures – Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) was held at the Su Van Hanh campus, District 10.
Attending the signing ceremony were Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Rector of HUFLIT, Dr. Tran Van Tieng – Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Languages, Dr. Hoang Nguyen Phuong – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Languages, Ms. Dang Thi Hoang Anh – Deputy Director of the Center for Business Relation and Student Support, Mr. Hiroki Nakano – HR Manager – Pasona Tech Vietnam, representatives from the Japanese Language Division – Faculty of Oriental Languages, the Center for Business Relation and Student Support, representatives from Pasona Tech Vietnam, and especially the participation of nearly 100 students majoring in Japanese Language.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Tran Van Tieng – Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Languages noted that this is an important event, contributing to providing observation, internship, and job opportunities, and equipping necessary skills for Japanese Language students before working at Japanese enterprises in the near future.
Additionally, Mr. Hiroki Nakano – HR Manager, Pasona Tech Vietnam shared that based on the signed Memorandum of Understanding, the two units will sustainably develop cooperation in many aspects, including but not limited to: connecting and promoting career opportunities, jointly developing training programs to meet market demands, organizing seminars and talkshows on new trends and technologies, as well as supporting related activities to bring value to both parties and to society.
The event marks a comprehensive cooperative relationship, promising to open up many domestic and international internship and job opportunities and bring practical value to Japanese Language students of the Faculty of Oriental Languages in the near future.
Following the signing ceremony, Mr. Hiroki Nakano – HR Manager, representative of Pasona Tech Vietnam shared insights on behavioral culture and communication when working at Japanese enterprises at HUFLIT Career Hub No. 13 with the theme “Japanese Company Stereotypes and Reality”, attended by nearly 100 students majoring in Japanese Language from the Faculty of Oriental Languages.
