03 students Pham Thi My Linh, Le Thi Thanh Thao, and Pham Thi Ngoc Thuong, from the 2020 cohort of the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Cultures, have had interesting experiences in their first week after entry, beginning their 12-month internship journey at Ryoutiku Hotel, Oita Prefecture, Japan.
Right after the welcome party, HUFLIT students quickly got acquainted with their tasks across departments. During the internship, they will work in different departments of Ryoutiku Hotel, from front desk and housekeeping to restaurant and culinary services. This is an opportunity for them to apply acquired knowledge into practice, hone professional skills, and experience Japanese culture and lifestyle.
HUFLIT always accompanies and supports students throughout their internship process in Japan. The university has established a close communication network with Ryoutiku Hotel to ensure that students are best cared for in all aspects, from accommodation and dining to work- and daily-life-related issues.
In addition, HUFLIT also regularly organizes online meetings to update students’ situations, answer questions, and boost their morale. The university also encourages students to participate in extracurricular and cultural exchange activities to quickly integrate into the new environment.
