On the morning of June 23, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with VMG Technology and Media Co., Ltd. (Di Dong Viet) regarding the reception and recruitment of human resources, and supporting students with learning and scientific research equipment.
Attending the signing ceremony were Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Rector of HUFLIT, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dat – CEO of Di Dong Viet system, leaders of HUFLIT departments, and department leaders of Di Dong Viet.
It is known that the ultimate and extremely important goal of this strategic cooperation is to support HUFLIT students with internships, field trips, and employment at Di Dong Viet every year. At the main time, it provides support with learning equipment and scholarship awards to HUFLIT students.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan stated: “Signing with Di Dong Viet in particular, as well as other businesses in general, is part of the University’s development strategy, which is to connect the University and Employers. Many training majors at HUFLIT are very well-suited to the recruitment needs of Di Dong Viet. Throughout its formation and development, HUFLIT places quality above all, which is most clearly measured through employer satisfaction.”
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dat – Former General Director and CEO of Di Dong Viet system shared at the signing ceremony: “Di Dong Viet will facilitate the reception of HUFLIT students to visit, observe, and intern at the Company. Along with that, Di Dong Viet will issue a priority recruitment policy for students who meet the standards and conditions according to the recruitment regulations to work at the Company. In addition, the system will support learning equipment and scholarship sponsorship packages within Di Dong Viet’s appropriate budget. Furthermore, the system will regularly coordinate with the university to organize career counseling sessions for HUFLIT students.”
Also at the signing ceremony, representatives of both sides discussed and agreed on the rights and obligations of each party in the cooperation. Accordingly, every 6 months, the directly executing units of each party will organize meetings, exchanges, and evaluations of the cooperative activity results, reporting to the leadership of both sides. This agreement is valid for 5 years from the date of signing and may be extended by written agreement between the two parties. This is a 5-year strategic cooperation, expected to bring many promising developments for both HUFLIT and Di Dong Viet in the near future.
