On the morning of July 28, 2023, 05 students with excellent academic achievements in the Chinese Language major, Faculty of Foreign Languages of HUFLIT received 05 scholarships from Cathay Life Vietnam Life Insurance Company, each worth 5,000,000 VND.
Attending the Ceremony was the presence of leaders of the “Thinh Tri Thanh Tai” Scholarship Fund, leaders and senior managers at Cathay Life Vietnam Life Insurance Company. On the side of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT), there was the attendance and congratulations of M.Sc. Dang Thi Thanh Lan – lecturer of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, M.Sc. Nguyen Dinh Nghia – Enterprise Network department, External Relations Department along with 03 HUFLIT students receiving scholarships in 2023. In addition, attending the Scholarship Award Ceremony was also the presence of 12 students receiving scholarships and representatives of 04 universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the ceremony, Mr. Eric Wu – Deputy General Director of Cathay Life Vietnam also congratulated the students on their efforts in academic achievements recently. He said this is the 05th year (since 2018) that the “Thinh Tri Thanh Tai” scholarship fund has accompanied HUFLIT students, contributing to supporting study costs as well as giving them more motivation on the journey to build knowledge baggage.
In addition to the presence of HUFLIT students, many excellent students from 04 universities in HCMC were also honored to receive these meaningful scholarships.

Through the profile review process, I am very lucky and happy to receive the 2023 Cathay Life scholarship. For me, this is not only a material encouragement but also a great spiritual comfort to help me overcome difficulties in study and life.
This gift is so meaningful, it is a warm fire, lighting up my dreams. This scholarship helps me cover my studies and life. I will always try my best, study really well not to let down the trust that the School and the Company have given me.

When I heard the news that I was eligible to receive the scholarship, I was very excited and proud, I am very lucky and happy to receive this scholarship. I am extremely grateful to the School and the Business for creating many conditions for students in difficult circumstances like me to have some more funds to cover life.
For me, this scholarship is not only a material encouragement but also a great spiritual encouragement gift for me to have the motivation to strive and study, overcome difficulties in life.
