On June 9, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with the (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter. This event marks an important milestone in promoting cooperation and developing high-quality human resources in the field of Cybersecurity and Information Technology Management.
Attending the signing ceremony, representing Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology were Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Duc Cuong, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; M.A. Nguyen Thi Thieu, Head of HUFLIT External Relations Department.
Attending the signing ceremony, HUFLIT was honored to welcome Mr. Robert Tran – Chairman of (ISC)2 Ho Chi Minh Chapter, Mr. Greg Mazzone – Special Advisor, and a guest from Deloitte Vietnam – Mr. Charlie Chye. The two sides had an intimate discussion before proceeding with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding to demonstrate the strong bond between HUFLIT and (ISC)2 Ho Chi Minh Chapter.
Accordingly, HUFLIT and (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter committed to jointly building and implementing cooperative activities to develop student internship programs, as well as providing and exchanging academic research information and materials related to Cybersecurity and Information Technology Management. Both sides will also promote the exchange of knowledge, experience, and materials to enhance the professional qualifications and expertise of the community of members in this field.
Mr. Robert Tran, leader of (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter, shared his joy about cooperating with Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology in developing high-quality human resources in the field of Cybersecurity and Information Technology Management. He also believes that the combination of specialized knowledge and HUFLIT’s educational foundation will bring clear benefits to both students and the expert community of (ISC)².
Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Rector of HUFLIT, expressed: It is an honor to sign this memorandum of understanding with (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter. The HUFLIT Rector evaluated that this cooperation will open up great opportunities for HUFLIT students to enhance their professional qualifications and meet the increasing demand for Cybersecurity and Information Technology Management in the labor market.
