With the slogan “Studying at HUFLIT illuminates your future”, HUFLIT desires to deliver the best values to learners and ensure that all HUFLIT students secure employment immediately after graduation, executing the strategy of connecting the university with enterprises/employers under a multi-win criterion. Following a period of negotiation and preparation, on the morning of March 18, 2022, at the 6th-floor Hall of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony took place between Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology and Online Mobile Services Joint Stock Company (MoMo E-Wallet).
This event also marks Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology as the first university in Vietnam to become an MOU Partner with Online Mobile Services Joint Stock Company (MoMo E-Wallet)
More internship opportunities for HUFLIT students
Attending the event were Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – President of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Manh Ha – Vice President, Mr. Nguyen Ba Diep – Vice Chairman, Co-founder of MoMo, Mr. Ptitsyn Aleksandr – Chief People Officer of MoMo, along with faculty and department leaders of HUFLIT, recruitment/HR leaders of MoMo, and over 400 HUFLIT students.
Both parties agreed on comprehensive cooperation in education – scientific research, human resource supply, image promotion, and scholarship sponsorship, thereby opening up development opportunities for HUFLIT and MoMo. This event opens up numerous internship and recruitment opportunities for HUFLIT students at MoMo – Vietnam’s tech unicorn. In the near future, MoMo will participate in HUFLIT’s career orientation activities such as Company Tours 2022 and HUFLIT Career Fair 2022. Additionally, MoMo will contribute feedback to adjust the curriculum according to business demands and professional skills training programs for HUFLIT students.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – President of HUFLIT shared that HUFLIT’s mission is to cultivate elite individuals with traits of integrity, cooperativeness, and responsibility, who constantly learn and reinvent themselves to become shining diamonds that any employer would want to welcome into their team.
Discussing the significance of the event, Mr. Nguyen Ba Diep – Vice Chairman, Co-founder of MoMo, stated that to ensure development matching the current growth rate, MoMo greatly needs young human resources who are creative, cooperative, responsible, and uphold integrity, aligning with HUFLIT’s educational model.

Also at the event, many questions from HUFLIT students regarding internship opportunities and MoMo’s requirements were addressed. This helped students gain understanding and confidence when applying for internships and job positions at MoMo.
