Taking place from April 17 to April 19, 2023, at the Su Van Hanh and Hoc Mon campuses, the career assessment activity “Sowing Personality – See Jobs”, held within the framework of the HUFLIT CAREER FAIR 2023, attracted the participation of over 1000+ HUFLIT students.
The assessment activity “Sowing Personality – See Jobs” is based on career assessment research by American psychologist John Holland (1919 – 2008), helping to suggest suitable jobs based on your interests, talents, and aptitudes through the evaluation of 6 human personality types.
The assessment activity “Sowing Personality – See Jobs” was developed based on arguments and research materials to help HUFLIT students understand themselves combined with practical job suggestions matching 6 personality types, categorizing students into 6 fields: Realistic; Investigative; Artistic; Social; Enterprising; Conventional. Thereby equipping HUFLIT students with the preparation on their path to finding the most suitable jobs for themselves in the future.
With the keyword #UnderstandYourself, “Sowing Personality – See Jobs” includes 32 True – False questions. After completing the assessment, students will know their career personality group,
The activity took place over 3 consecutive days, starting from April 17, 2023, to the end of April 19, 2023, organized for all students studying at HUFLIT and especially targeted at 3rd-year, 4th-year, and graduating students. For convenience of participation, the activity was launched in the computer labs of both the 828 Su Van Hanh Campus and the Hoc Mon Campus. The activity took place in an exciting, fun, yet serious atmosphere with the participation of over 1000 students.
Especially HUFLIT students went in groups to participate in the activity, doing the assessment “Sowing Personality – See Jobs” together, creating many memorable moments with various emotions when discovering each other’s personalities. Students responded positively to the activity and seriously studied their personality group results, while also saving the job suggestions and employer information at the end of the assessment results page.
Through the activity, the provided information and job opportunities will help HUFLIT students have the basis to define themselves and the opportunity to try out careers that match their personalities. Hopefully, HUFLIT students will increasingly progress and succeed on the path of self-orientation in planning their future careers.
