On August 21, 2023, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT), the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony took place between the Faculty of Foreign Languages and National Geographic Learning, a part of CENGAGE.
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of National Geographic Learning, were Mr. Michael Cahill – Senior Vice President of NGL Asia, Mr. Luong Duy Anh – General Director of National Geographic Learning in Vietnam, and Ms. Do Nguyen Tho Trang – Senior Business Manager of NGL in Vietnam. Welcoming the delegation were Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Rector of the University, M.A. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thieu – Head of External Relations, and M.A. Ms. Tran My Uyen – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
During the working session, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Rector of the University, provided an overview of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology and stated that promoting international cooperation activities has always been a priority for the University’s Leadership, integrated into its strategic development goals. Mr. Michael and the delegation also shared about activities, strategies, and priority policies in Vietnam for the upcoming period, while highly praising the achievements of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology in general and the Faculty of Foreign Languages in particular.
According to the signed contents, National Geographic Learning will provide English teaching materials to be used at the HUFLIT Faculty of Foreign Languages, coordinate the implementation of professional activities to support lecturers, career counseling activities for students, personnel recruitment, create career opportunities for students, and help businesses expand access to the recruitment pool of HUFLIT Faculty of Foreign Languages students,…
The working session took place in an intimate and friendly atmosphere. Representatives of both parties also hope that in the near future, they will actively exchange information and jointly implement cooperation plans within the framework of the agreement in the memorandum.
