On November 8, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) successfully organized the 2nd Business Conference with the theme “Enhancing Training Quality to Meet Employers’ Expectations in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”. The conference served as a multi-dimensional connection forum among 42 enterprises, the University’s Board of Management, faculty members, and 38 outstanding students of HUFLIT.

The conference discussion session was vibrant, featuring 68 statements from enterprise delegates, faculty members, and outstanding students. The opinions focused on 3 specific groups of issues: The impact of AI on the labor market; Solutions to enhance training quality; and Enterprise – University – Student Connection.
Also during the discussion session, experts, enterprises, and the university jointly analyzed the challenges and opportunities that AI brings to students. HUFLIT shared new strategies and training programs to equip students with essential skills in the digital era. Additionally, the conference provided an opportunity for students to meet and exchange directly with enterprise representatives, listening to shared insights on recruitment demands and necessary skills.
Continuing to affirm the commitment to enhancing training quality
Speaking at the Plenary Session, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, President of HUFLIT, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to continuously improving training quality to meet the expectations of enterprises, especially in the era of artificial intelligence. HUFLIT consistently asserts the important role of enterprises in updating training programs and remains ready to welcome future cooperation opportunities.
Also at the plenary session, HUFLIT signed 18 Memorandums of Understanding with enterprises, committing to cooperation for the 2025 – 2027 period, opening up numerous internship and job opportunities for students.
In addition, the enterprises transferred AI-integrated software technology to Human Resources management students, helping them access the latest technologies.
The 2nd HUFLIT Business Conference was a resounding success, contributing to promoting the cooperative relationship between the University, Enterprises, and Students. HUFLIT will continue its efforts to improve training quality, equipping students with the best knowledge and skills to succeed in the digital era.
