On July 11, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) had a meeting with Mr. Ng Aik Beng, Regional Director at the NVIDIA AI Technology Center (NVAITC), to discuss potential cooperation opportunities in education and training. The meeting was supported by Launch JDI.
NVIDIA Expands Search for Core Human Resources
With the goal of promoting the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, the technology corporation NVIDIA is looking for cooperation opportunities with schools and educational organizations worldwide to support AI research and development and young talent training. At the meeting, Mr. Ng Aik Beng, Regional Director at the NVIDIA AI Center, introduced scholarship programs, fellowships, and AI ambassador positions for Southeast Asian students, opening up opportunities to access advanced technology for the student and faculty community.
HUFLIT Shares AI Development Orientation
Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, President of HUFLIT, introduced the strengths of the Information Technology training program and shared the development orientation of the Artificial Intelligence industry at the university. He also introduced 16 chatbots developed by the HUFLIT Institute of Applied Training & Research, demonstrating the creativity and efforts of the faculty in mastering technology to apply AI in teaching and learning.
Promising Cooperation Opportunities
With similarities in the goal of promoting multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary AI development in Vietnam, cooperation with NVIDIA promises to bring many opportunities for HUFLIT students, including:
