On the morning of April 1, 2026, at the Hoc Mon campus, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Student Cultural House and 24H Employment Joint Stock Company to successfully organize the HUFLIT Career Fair 2026 under the theme “Voyage of Aspiration: Catching the Wave of Opportunities, Stepping Firmly into Your Career”. The event attracted over 5,000 student visits.
Setting Sail and Catching 2,900 Recruitment Opportunities
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Career Fair, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – President of the University emphasized: “The theme of this year’s program – ‘Voyage of Aspiration – Catching the Wave of Opportunities, Stepping Firmly into Your Career’ – is a very beautiful imagery. A professional life is like a voyage. To go far, you not only need a good ship, but also courage, knowledge, and the ability to recognize the right time to hoist your sails. The university and businesses cannot make the journey for you, but we will provide the map, experience, and the first doors for you to step into life more steadily.”
This year’s event recorded an impressive scale with the presence of 84 reputable enterprises participating both offline and online, offering nearly 2,900 internship and open positions. The participation of many large corporations ranked in the VNR500 list such as Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, FPT Software, Lotte Vietnam, Transcosmos Vietnam, MISA, etc., has demonstrated HUFLIT’s prestige and training quality in supplying human resources that meet the stringent standards of the market.
Equipping Comprehensive Skills for the Digital Era
At the HUFLIT Career Fair 2026, students not only had the opportunity to learn early about corporate recruitment requirements, directly interview with employers, and refine their Resume / CV, but they also gained a deeper understanding of themselves through the HUFLIT Career Talks program themed “Decoding Yourself: Conquering Employers through DISC”. Guided by speaker Mr. Le Thanh Lam, CEO & Co-founder of TOPSKILLS, time was dedicated to sharing and helping students recognize their personal competencies and build a suitable career path using the DISC tool.
In addition, the 1:1 CV Review activity with HR experts from 24H Employment JSC during the morning session became a major attraction, drawing nearly 300 students to register, with 90% of surveyed students expressing satisfaction or higher after experiencing this activity.
Representatives of enterprises participating in the event highly appreciated the proactive attitude and adaptability of HUFLIT students. Ms. Nguyen Thị Na – Human Resources Manager of MISA Company shared: “In an era of rapidly changing technology, we prioritize candidates with flexible thinking and strong adaptation skills. HUFLIT students have demonstrated their courage and serious preparation for their career journey.”
