  • Assist in take and preparing room service orders;
  • Answer questions on menu selections, and assist in checking with kitchen staff;
  • Answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines;
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day;
    Assist in setting tables according to type of event and service standards, including types of linens, glassware, plate/chinaware, and silver/flatware, ensuring all supplies meet quality standards;
  • Assist in communicating with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met;
  • Assist in communicating additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen;
  • Assist in ensuring settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other item that is part of the standard;
  • Check with supervisor before leaving at end of shift;
  • Assist in inspect the cleanliness and presentation all china, glass, and silver prior to use;
  • Assist in checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages;
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of assigned tables including ensuring courses are cleared according to department standards and tables are properly crumbed when appropriate.
